Second Sun is a powerhouse six-piece band delivering electrifying performances that span classic rock, pop, R&B, and everything in between. Based in the Southern Georgian Bay area, we bring professional-grade production, tight musicianship, and relentless energy to every show.

Manuel Fonseca

Lead Vocals

Manuel Fonseca is a commanding frontman whose raw vocal power and magnetic stage presence anchor every Second Sun performance. With a voice that effortlessly moves from soulful ballads to hard-driving rock anthems, Manuel connects with audiences and keeps the energy at peak levels all night long. He is an awesome guy that holds several degrees in East Indian fighting cuisine. Demonstrations available upon request.

James Schneider

Keyboards / Vocals

James Schneider brings depth, texture, and versatility to Second Sun's sound from behind the keys. A skilled vocalist and multi-instrumentalist, James layers lush pads, punchy synths, and classic organ tones into every performance, creating the sonic foundation that gives the band its full, polished sound.

Chris Bruce

Bass Guitar / Vocals

Chris Bruce is a professional bassist based in Collingwood, Ontario, with over 40 years of experience performing on stages around the world. His credits include work with The Dave Murphy Band, Jeff Healey, Steve Strongman, Pretzel Logic, Nightfly, Material Men, Sil Simone, Justin Time, The Nomads, and many others. Chris has shared bills with James Brown, Bass is Base, Spoons, Platinum Blonde, Alex Lifeson, DJ Fontana, and Elvis' legendary TCB Band featuring James Burton, Ronnie Tutt, and Glenn D. Hardin. A founding member of Second Sun and the band's musical director, Chris brings four decades of stage-tested instinct and deep-pocket groove to every performance.

Brian May

Guitar / Vocals

Brian May is a professional guitarist based in the Toronto area with an extensive performance career spanning North America. A versatile and accomplished musician, Brian's formal musical education includes studies at Humber College and The Royal Conservatory of Music. Known for his technical proficiency, versatility, and dedication to recreating iconic guitar performances, Brian delivers professional, high-energy shows that capture the spirit and sound of the artists he represents.

Daryl Ralph

Drums / Vocals

Daryl Ralph is a versatile drummer with experience spanning rock, metal, punk, blues, and country. Over the years he has performed with projects including Sons of Butcher, Bonds of Mara, and numerous original and tribute acts. Currently performing with The Social Era, The Burnouts, and Second Sun, Daryl brings a strong groove, dynamic energy, and decades of live and studio experience to every performance. His approach is simple: serve the song, connect with the audience, and make every show count.

Jenny Ralph

Vocals

Jenny Ralph brings powerhouse vocals and infectious energy to Second Sun's front line. With a voice that cuts through the mix and a stage presence that commands attention, Jenny adds dynamic range and vocal firepower that sets Second Sun apart from the pack. Her ability to move from sultry to soaring keeps audiences captivated all night.
